Friday Music Flow 8/4

1. “Toyko” (Video), Thundercat

The very talented and eccentric Thundercat gave us Drunk back in February but he’s back to remind us how strange yet amazing the album was. The 2:22 song “Toyko” is about Thundercat’s love affair with the mysterious, magical place and the video illustrates just that. The hazey visual cuts between Thundercat playing games, his journey around Tokyo and a lot of cats.

2. “My Girl”, Chromonicci

Producer and new R&B crooner has laid his voice on a track and it’s so beautiful! Texas native Chromonicci isn’t new to the game but his love life inspired him to write and sing on one of his dope beats. Get familiar with Chromonicci’s with his new track “My Girl”.

Only a few days before the release of her forthcoming project, BOSCO has given us another taste of what we can expect on b. “Cruel” reminds me of a 90’s TLC record with the soft, light vocals with strong lyrics. The NEVR produced single is a funk filled masterpiece. Take a listen below.
